Kurt Cobain - 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'
"I can barely get through 'Teen Spirit.' I literally want to throw my guitar down and walk away."

Slash - 'Sweet Child O' Mine'
"I hated it for years, but it would cause such a reaction, so I've finally gotten to appreciate it."

Robert Plant - 'Stairway to Heaven'
"I'd break out in hives if I had to sing that song in every show."

Pete Townshend - 'Pinball Wizard'
"It's the most clumsy piece of writing I've ever done."

Ann Wilson - 'All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You'
"It kind of stood for everything we wanted to get away from... There was a lot of pressure on us to do the song."

Beastie Boys - Fight for Your Right (To Party)
"It became just what we'd set out to make fun of."

Run DMC - 'Walk This Way' (original version)
They called the original song "hillbilly gibberish."

Brian May - 'Don't Stop Me Now'
The guitarist felt like the track celebrated the risky hedonistic lifestyle of Freddie Mercury a bit too much.

Jani Lane - 'Cherry Pie'
"I had no intention of writing that song. I could shoot myself in the head for writing that song."

Ronnie James Dio - Rainbow in the Dark
"I absolutely hated that song. I hated that song in context with what I was trying to accomplish with the album."
