Los 101 discos esenciales del rock (clásico) - Lista de El País



La lista es de Jeff Gold y de ella dio cuenta Diego A. Manrique  el otro día (18) en El País, de modo que si, además de los títulos que os pongo, quieres leer los comentarios del periodista al final tendrás que dirigirte al enlace que te he dejado. Voy a perdonar a Gold por poner "rock clásico" y de esta manera quitarse de un plumazo el al parecer molesto metal. Mucho Dylan, mucho Floyd se ve por aquí, y eso está bien, como se agradece ver a Hendrix y a AC/DC, pero ver tan poco representados a Led Zeppelin o ni ver a Purple (ni a Sabbath, que también son clásicos), pues me desconcierta un poco. Aquí cada uno arrima el ascua a su sardina. ¿Qué decís vosotros?

    1. Hola, master. Pues ya somos dos. Ni en el 101 entraron los Purple. Abrazos.

La selección de Jeff Gold es de 1963-1977, es decir, 14 añitos, como decía Clint Eastwood: "Las opiniones son como los culos, cada uno tiene el suyo" Por supuesto sobran y faltan, como dice Ángel ni uno de Deep Purple (es que ni el "Machine Head"), el único grupo que me ha hecho llorar de emoción escuchándolos en directo. Ni mi disco favorito, el "Quadrophenia" de The Who. Mucho folk norteamericano y pocas nueces.
