Con motivo de los 45 años de Woodstock, Jason Bailey publica esta lista comentada (remito a la fuente) sobre los mejores conciertos de la historia sobre los que se ha hecho una película, una filmación oficial. Hablamos fundamentalmente de rock. Evidentemente, el legendario festival de Woodstock, celebrado en agosto de 1969 y al que asistieron algo así como 500.000 personas, siendo ilustres participantes gente de la talla de Janis Joplin, The Who, la Creedence, Santana, Joan Baez, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, Johnny Winter, The Band, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Neil Young o el inigualable Jimi Hendrix, digo que este, más aún con lo del aniversario detrás, ocupa el primer lugar. Como curiosidad, apuntamos algunas de las invitaciones a este festival que fueron rechazadas: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Doors, Bob Dylan, King Crimson o The Byrds fueron los nombres más importantes que por diversas circunstancias desistieron de asistir a un festival a la postre mítico. Claro, esto ellos no lo sabían.
